All event ticket bookings and subscriptions can be canceled for a full refund if done so within 72 hours of the purchase. For event bookings, you may cancel your ticket for a 95% refund (5% withheld for administration charges) for up to 72 hours before the commencement of the event and for a 50% refund for up to 2 hours before the commencement of the event. Requests for refunds will not be entertained after that.
For subscriptions, you may cancel any time up to the time of your first visit to the makerspace. Your first use of the makerspace facilities confirms your subscription and requests for refund will not be entertained thereafter unless in special circumstances (as determined by us) at which point we may consider a partial refund based on usage.
For a cancellation and refund request, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your request. Once your request is received, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund along with details of the refund amount within 2 business days. If your refund is approved then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
